community, a resilient family, and the lived reality of beauty needs that were far too often overlooked.

Nicola Parsley
The name Lysson is more than a place; it’s a tribute. A tribute to Nicola’s father, a self-employed professional whose independence inspired courage; her stepmother, who passed on practical skills now vital to the business; her mother, whose example and encouragement during summer work experiences taught discipline and pride; and her grandmother, whose deep appreciation for natural remedies and nutritional wellness left a lasting impression.
These influences sparked not just a brand, but a philosophy: that beauty should be as
diverse, dignified, and dynamic as the people who seek it.
Closing the Gap
At Lysson Beauty, we’ve seen the gaps — and we’re here to close them. Too many products are built around narrow ideals of beauty, ignoring how
ageing, ethnicity, and lifestyle affect our skin and hair. Our founder’s own experiences — and the countless voices of others — revealed a shared frustration: mature skin was underserved, textured hair misunderstood, and inclusivity often felt like an afterthought.
